2017/18 Budget reality check: Infrastructure spending decreased

Despite the hype over infrastructure in this year’s Federal Budget handed down last night, funding in Australia’s key road, rail, water and energy infrastructure has fallen flat. Despite the States’ high hopes for extra funding to push through key projects, we can still expect to see a surge in demand for Civil Road, Rail and Water Engineers and Designers over the next few years as business cases and approvals push through.
