Welcome to our newest Consultant, Joyce!

Welcome Aboard Joyce!

We are thrilled to introduce the newest member of our team Joyce Koimb, a seasoned HR and recruitment expert with over 16 years of diverse experience across all industry levels.

Joyce joins our POM office as a Recruitment Consultant, armed with a degree in Psychology (HR Major), and a wealth of knowledge in recruitment, Learning & Development (Training), Employee Relations, HR benefits, and general HR administration.

What motivates Joyce in her field is the profound impact HR professionals have on employees’ lives, welfare, providing opportunities, and creating career paths, which continues to fuel passion in this space.

When we asked Joyce to speak about what a highlight has been in her career so far, Joyce listed many things but what stood out the most to her was the impact of recruiting, coaching, training, and mentoring young graduate professionals entering the world of work.

“Engaging these young professionals under career training programs such as Graduate Development Programs (GDPs) or Cadetships, preparing them for more senior roles, and seeing them achieve organisational goals, personal goals and that of their families, has given me great satisfaction.”, Joyce said.

Another highlight in Joyce’s professional journey was successfully implementing HR audit recommendations, recruiting the HR manpower, and transforming the HR section into a more robust and efficient-running function. This accomplishment then drove the organisational restructure which addressed long-standing issues. Joyce is a team-builder at heart so its no surprise to hear of some of her achievements such as this example, and we can’t wait to see what her extensive professional experience, social network, strong recruitment skills, and a delightful sense of humour brings our POM team.

Joining us at Peopleconnexion, Joyce hopes to settle into her role and achieve long-term success, celebrate big wins and make lasting contributions to our PX community.

On a personal note, our new team member is not just an HR expert but a mother of five – which goes a way to explaining Joyce’s humble, friendly and approachable demeanour. Outside of work, Joyce finds joy in cooking and spending quality time with her children.

Beyond the professional realm, our newcomer is known for her humour, inquisitive nature and a surprising talent in self-defence. To unwind, Joyce indulges in spa pampering, socialising with friends and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

We extend a warm welcome to our newest member and we are excited as she settles into her role coming into 2024, which is promising to be a big one! We look forward to supporting and nurturing Joyce’s growth and aspirations alongside those of our POM Office (and extending to our offshore offices)!

Join us in welcoming Joyce to our team and Connect with her today Joyce Koimb.
