We embrace creative thinking, innovation and are passionate about our genuine commitment to quality. The chance to form meaningful relationships and put people at the centre. The ability to believe in what you do, and make a difference. This is what we're all about at Peopleconnexion.

We like to do things differently. One-size-fits-all solutions and transactional relationships are not part of our philosophy. Even as the company grows, our core values remain constant. Find out more about what sets us apart in the recruitment industry.

ABOUT US

At Peopleconnexion, we’re more than a specialist recruitment partner. We’re career coaches. Brand ambassadors. Talent spotters. Team builders. Industry experts. And change agents. People are our business. They make all the difference – in our business and yours. That’s why we’re passionate about serving both employers and candidates to forge winning teams.

Peopleconnexion began in 2007 when our Director Kristine Berry set out with a mobile phone, a contact list and a vision - to inspire greatness for her candidates and clients. We started life as an engineering recruitment agency in Brisbane, Australia. But our world is now much bigger.

Our Commitment to Building Pathways in the Community

Our 2023-2024 IMPACT to date:

literacy pathways (Books donated for Buk Bilong Pikinini)
Education pathways (through career coaching and upskilling)

Our Impact statement: Together, we create pathways for those who are hungry for knowledge and fulfillment.

Giving back is one of our annual drivers throughout the Peopleconnexion entities: Peopleconnexion Recruitment Australia, Peopleconnexion PNG and Peopleconnexion Training.

We build pathways to level the playing field, so everyone can unleash their inner greatness - through literacy, education, mentoring and training. We know that the gift of reading releases a pathway for greatness, so we endeavour to open the world of literacy to children through books; career knowledge to young adults; and mentoring for upcoming professionals.

What we've been grateful to have achieved in the community to date:

Empowering minds through literacy - Buk Bilong Pikinini 2023

Since 2018, Peopleconnexion have been grateful to continue our active involvement in supporting BbP's mission by spearheading book donation drives in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Our annual initiative involves collecting books to be shipped to Port Moresby, contributing to the establishment and maintenance of libraries across the region. This collaborative effort aims to provide children in PNG with access to educational resources, unlocking doors to knowledge, empowering minds, and shaping brighter futures.

Celebrating Impact: Volunteering Day with Foyer Foundation and Gold Coast Youth Service

We are thrilled to share the success of our recent volunteering day – the second year in a row – with the Foyer Foundation and Gold Coast Youth Service. This annual initiative is one our entire team looks forward to and is a connection to our dedication as a company, to creating tangible career pathways for those hungry for knowledge and fulfillment.

2023: Career Coaching with PNG's students

On 3 August 2023, our PNG team facilitated a Career Coaching workshop in partnership with International Training Institute (ITI), Badili Campus in Port Moresby, PNG.

In the role of career coaches and brand ambassadors, our team orchestrated a dynamic 2-hour session with the mission to empower and guide these young adults and emerging professionals on their journey towards discovering fulfilling careers.

You can read more about our session here.

20,000 books - 20,000 children's pathways opened

Each year, we are proud to partner with Buk Bilong Pikinini (BbP) in Papua New Guinea (PNG), who book-by-book, is building the literacy of PNG children.

Did you know that books are not available to purchase in PNG? We know that opening a book, opens a child to a world of knowledge, which opens doors to pathways for them to be great. So, that's why, since 2019, we have collected, shipped and donated over 20,000 books into libraries being built by BbP. That's over 20,000 children's lives, with the help of our generous communities, we have been able to change through literacy.

Creating pathways for career success in the community

In 2022, our Brisbane and Gold Coast offices came together for our annual volunteering day, partnering with a local organisation on the Gold Coast who provide shelter and support for youths. We each paired with a young adult and had the privilege to guide them through the skills and tools to empower them in their career-finding pathway. CV writing, interview skills and common questions, how to dress for success and online branding - all things we were humbled to be able to share. We are grateful that our community enables us to pay our knowledge and expertise like this forward.

Empowering the future workforce of PNG to be employment ready!

In 2022, our PNG team were privileged to be given the opportunity to present to Year 11 students - and future generation of professionals - from the Port Moresby International School.

Together, we provided students with the advice and tools to set up their CV’s, develop their LinkedIn/online branding, write cover letters and other job ready/employment ready skills. It was a humbling experience for our team to be able to share our expertise with others and make an impression on the youth within the PNG community.
