Manager, Financial Accountant

Financial Reporting: Assist the Financial Controller in preparing monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual returns. Take full responsibility for internal management reporting.
Day-to-Day Operations: Manage management reporting, regulatory reporting, accounts payable, general ledger reconciliations, and head office reporting.
Month-End Procedures: Lead month-end accounting duties, journal entries, reconciliations, and ensure timely and accurate month-end closures.
Financial Analysis: Prepare and review daily balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, risk metrics, and capitalisation of work-in-progress (WIP) assets.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor accounting officers and analysts, driving a culture of learning and development.
Stakeholder Engagement: Support audits, tax returns, business case development, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators and auditors.
