Gary has over 15 years’ experience in facilitating transformational learning experiences for leaders in the private and social sectors. He holds a Masters in Organisational Leadership from Regent University in Virginia, USA. A career highlight has been the four years he spent at an international NGO in the Middle-East, running learning and leadership development programmes for crosscultural groups. This work resulted in speaking engagements on four continents. Recently, Gary has enjoyed writing and facilitating leadership and management material for top companies and government regulatory bodies. Gary is passionate about motivating people to lead and live better than they did yesterday.

Improved the development of talent and depth of Leadership | Coaching for Leaders
Kina Bank originally engaged Peopleconnexion to run an Engagement Survey to set benchmarks and help us identify Learning & Development needs. As a result, we identified an opportunity for growth by narrowing the gap between the leaders and managers within Kina and our junior employees. Additionally, we wanted to improve our internal development of talent and depth of leadership within Kina Bank. Together with Peopleconnexion we identified the Coaching for Leaders program as an intervention that would accomplish both of these objectives.
The program ran over 12 months, from August 2021 to April 2022 with 100 participants. It provided highly-practical, structured introduction to the skill of coaching, enabling those who had never coached to feel confident and identify the skills and process they needed to employ throughout the program to achieve the program objectives and see results. The result has been over 100 coaching relationships developed with Kina Bank’s younger, key staff.
Peopleconnexion were highly professional and supportive throughout the process, rescheduling training when necessary and even running an additional round of training for those delegates who missed sessions due to the impact of Covid at their own expense. We have engaged their services for recruitment and surveys, and they are the same committed, passionate service providers when it comes to training. They contextualise the content excellently for PNG. Gary communicated with us regularly throughout the process, Maria supported us excellently when it came to organising and scheduling, and Anne facilitated superbly.

Highly interactive and engaging workshops
Peopleconnexion delivered a series of career transition workshops to over 130 Abt Associates staff in its PNG office. It was a tremendous success and rather than staff feeling nervous about their future careers as Abt’s current program comes to an end, they became invigorated and enthusiastic about their potential.
