Welcome to the team, Sere

It is with great delight that we get to introduce you to our newest team member, Sere!

Sere joins us as a new pillar of strength in our Immigration team. With the surge in PNG’s economic activities, Sere joins us at an opportune juncture, as we bolster our resources to support the activity on the horizon!

Sere brings with him over 15 years of experience in PNG’s immigration market. His roles have varied from Migration Services Consultant at a prominent firm specialising in migration services and workforce solutions, to a globally-recognised accounting and consultancy firm in Papua New Guinea, which has since evolved into one of the world’s leading professional services networks, acclaimed for its audit, tax, and advisory expertise.

Sere has also held Executive Consultant positions in a reputable consultancy firm in the Oceania region, renowned for its expertise in offering specialised services across various sectors; and a leading corporate service provider in Papua New Guinea, known for its comprehensive business solutions.

He has also contributed to an esteemed project funded by AUS AID, working in an administrative and logistical capacity, aimed at bolstering the electoral framework and providing robust support to the PNG Electoral Commission.

This month Sere joins us as Immigration Consultant, working in our Port Moresby Office.

We asked Sere to speak to us about one of the most touching moments from his career, which he relayed as assisting a non-citizen return to his homeland after a decade in PNG without proper documentation. Talk about a big heart! Sere prides himself on his unmatched communication and negotiation skills, which we know is crucial in liaising with various departments, clients and candidates on a daily basis!

We also asked Sere what makes him passionate about what he does, to which he answered “Meeting new faces every year and turning them into lifelong friends,”. Additionally, what he loves about his role is having the opportunity to guide those who may be apprehensive about settling in PNG, and making their dreams a reality. We agree with you there, Sere!

In his new role, he’s eager to expedite processes, share his expertise, and hopes to process a whopping 1,000 applications while expanding our client base.

Now, a fun detour to get to know Sere! Our new team member is a self-proclaimed humorist, an avid gardener, and even takes pride in keeping his home spick and span. We’re sure all of those qualities won’t go astray in our office!

Sere’s aim is to bring efficiency and speed to our team, armed with his rich experiences and insights. He is already gearing up to share his knowledge to ensure faster facilitation of applications, and we can’t wait to learn from him.

Join us in welcoming Sere, and let’s gear up to make the most of his vast experience as we continue to mobilise our candidates on PNG soil! 🎉🌅
